Public policy project analyzes
wage standards for local governments
Public Policy major Matthew Eng ’02 recently completed a senior thesis entitled “Wage Determination in the Local Public Sector.” Sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension, it helps local communities determine fair wages for their municipal employees. Present Their Research to High School Classes
Levitt Scholars are honored at luncheon
A record number of 40 outstanding students from all disciplines were recognized at a May luncheon. Sponsored by the Levitt Public Affairs Center, these Scholars made 54 visits to high schools and spoke to a total of 81 classes. Topics ranged from a discussion of Jane Austin to an explanation of brain research.
